Net value legally acquired:
In order to meet the requirement, applicants must demonstrate the net worth of their current assets, as well as their history of acquiring funds over their careers with supporting documentation.
Net worth is determined through bank statements, investor books, real estate appraisals, audited financial statements and other relevant and up-to-date documents. Applicants are required to declare all their personal assets and liabilities.
Applicants must also demonstrate that their assets have been legally acquired. This takes into account employment income, businesses, local market conditions, inheritances and donations. Although it is often difficult to produce detailed documentation on the early stages of an applicant’s career, clear supporting documents will facilitate the application process.
Appropriate management experience:
The intent of the program is to attract business people. A qualified candidate; generally owns or manages a business or active enterprise, which may include professional practices, rather than simply managing investment activities. In this context, grey areas include owners who only manage their passive real estate investments and investment managers. For example, the development of real estate may be eligible while simple ownership of real estate may not be eligible.
