Studying in Canada

Canada has one of the best education systems in the world. There are many ways and reasons to come to Canada to study. To do this, you must meet certain conditions:

– You must not have a criminal record
– You must prove that your financial situation will allow you to cover your tuition and living expenses
– You must have been accepted at an educational institution in Canada

Most people who want to study in Canada need a “Canadian Study Permit”. But under certain conditions, you can study in Canada without this permit.

Working as a student

It is possible for an international student to work during their studies. This will depend on where you want to work, the program you are in and whether you get a study permit. With one of the above conditions or a combination of two or more, you can work:

On campus
– You must be a full-time student at a valid educational institution
– You have a study permit

Off-campus
– You must comply with the same conditions as if you wanted to work on campus
– If you are participating in a co-op or internship program, you must have a valid work permit.
